Frank Acton Death, Obituary Lancaster
LANCASTER — The Lancaster community is in mourning after the tragic death of Frank Acton, a well-loved 75-year-old resident who passed away following a single-vehicle crash on Ohio 37 in Fairfield County on January 30. His passing has left a deep sense of loss among his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred around 10:11 a.m. near milepost 14. Authorities determined that Frank was driving a 2018 Chevrolet pickup southbound when the vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment, and came to a stop. He was transported to Fairfield Medical Center for treatment and later transferred to Mount Carmel East, where he was pronounced deceased.
Beyond the circumstances of that tragic day, Frank’s life will be remembered for the many ways he touched the lives of those around him. To his family and friends, Frank was more than just a man who lived in Lancaster — he was a constant, steady presence whose contributions to the community will never be forgotten.
